My name is Kim and I live in the small Somerset town of Axbridge (We’re in the Doomsday book and one of the last places in England to hold a regular pageant!) I live with my husband and our 4 pusses, who, incidentally, are all named after Beatrix Potter characters.

Last year I started gardening and found it to be one of the most peaceful activities around, out in the fresh air and sunshine growing produce for us to eat - fresher than the supermarket and a whole lot cheaper.

I am in my fifties and suffer from many health issues, including MS, Stage 4 kidney failure and diabetes, and I am a permanent visitor to the Bridgwater Dialysis unit. (10% of all sales will be donated to that unit).

I find that making my soaps is very therapeutic and I really enjoy finding colours and scents that compliment each other well.  I am hoping to incorporate different herbs and flowers from my garden into my soaps, either for their scent or exfoliating properties.
